Beluga Whales

We have had a few sunny days here in Alaska and we have made sure to get out. On our hike the other day we walked up on a mother moose and her calf, and then 100 yards down the path another mother and her calf. So we decided to turn around but on our way home we saw a bull moose about 50 yards off the path so we hurried back only to find another bull moose about 2 feet off the path. I quickly took a picture and then we walked away.

I have been wanting to see a Beluga whale ever since we got here and the other day we went for a drive and we got to see them. We saw a bunch of them but we were only able to get a picture of one. The white bump in the middle of this picture is the whale. We also saw some seals and we think orcas. We were really lucky. Tillie even saw the whales because they were so easy to spot since they are white.

What did you have for dinner last night? We had kid sandwiches.
